East Coast - Australia day Fly In

A few members from the club headed up the St Helens for the Australia Day weekend again this year.  Most made a weekend of it arriving on the Friday night and going to the East Coast Club for their annual Australia Day Fly In.  After the fly in we had a lovely dinner with partners and families at Mohr and Smith.

The turn up was great this year with members from most clubs around Tasmania visiting over the weekend.

tested Mervyn Clarke for his Instructor's ticket.  Pleased to report

Merv passed the test with flying colours.  

I note that Merv did have to rescue his model from a near crash 

when Tony was playing the role of student.

As can be seen from the images we had a perfect day .

The Zentangle Art produced on the day

Carol Sheppard showed some of the ladies "The Zentangle method of producing art".  The course went well with everyone producing some lovely art work. The ladies then travelled to the club and joined us for lunch.
