The

Sat 8th August and the Roaring Forties Aeromodellers were represented by Tony
Gray, Tony Sheppard & Mike Rutledge with Peter Allen & Will Deal adding

Although a cold day the lack of wind was a bonus and made for excellent flying conditions. As always our "good luck" weatherman, Andrew McEntyre came up with the right conditions yet again - nice work Andrew, what ever you do just keep doing it!
Steve
Reece (PFL) was top man in advanced and flew to his usual high standard with
his immaculate Yak model. The Sportsman class was a close contest with Ben
Goode (PFL) just edging Matt Box (PFL) and Kevin Hay (LMAC).
The
Basic class was also a very close contest with very little separating the
contestants. Terry Pearson (LMAC) came out on top with a polished schedule,
however very closely followed by Mike Rutledge, Dave Cook (PFL), Tony Gray,
Tony Sheppard and Andrew McEntyre (PFL).

Top marks
to Tony Gray for actually making it to the “starting Line” after recently
suffering a debilitating injury working at home. I suppose we can forgive him
for landing the Esprit halfway down the paddock on one occasion!
