IMAC Competition at Panshanger 13th June, 2015.

All planes intact after an enjoyable day.
Five club members travelled to the Phoenix Flyers field at Panshanger on the 13th June.  A very early start as the pilots briefing was scheduled for 8.30am.  After the normal coffee in Campbell Town we all arrived in good time.

Plenty of entrants for the day, 7 in Basic, 2 in Sportsman and one in Advanced.  Very pleasing to see the increasing interest in the IMAC competitions.

Tony Gray - 5th Place Basic

President Mike (Left) with Mel and Ben Goode.

Peter Allen - 6th Place Basic

RFAM members have improved over the past year and are posting very competitive scores.

Results in Basic were Terry Pearson (LMAC) first, Steve Cochrane (PFL) second, Mike Rutledge (RFAM) third, Tony Sheppard (RFAM) fourth, Tony Gray (RFAM) fifth, Peter Allen (RFAM) sixth and Dave Cook, (PFL) seventh.

Ben Goode beat Matt Box in Sportsman and Steve Reece was the only entrant in Advanced.

A big thank you to Ben Goode for organising the day, to Mel for scoring and to Andrew for judging.

The next Tassie IMAC is to be held on the 15th August at Panshanger.  With some practice and a few less zeros a few more Roaring Forties flyers will be standing on the podium.

I haven't seen all the individual scores yet, but in the score sheets I have seen there were a few zeros for the hammerhead.
